LIT 4344 - The Modern Novel (3 semester hours) A study of several landmarks, late 19th- and 20th-century novels, with attention to their literary, intellectual, and historical qualities. Authors may include Borges, Joyce, Proust, Mann, Garcia Marquez, or others. May be repeated for credit as topics vary (6 hours maximum).
