| Description: | PSCI 4359 - Globalization and International Conflict (3 semester hours) An examination of how recent trends in globalization affect the use of force in international relations, with particular emphasis on whether globalization makes war less likely. The course examines how the calculus of war is affected by economic interdependence, social and cultural integration, environmental pressures, demographic shifts, non-state actors, democratization, and attempts at global governance.
