Description: SOC 4369 - Public Health and Society (3 semester hours) An overview of issues in public and population health within the context of social forces and structures such as social inequality, including class, race and ethnicity, gender, and sexual orientation; access to economic and social resources; culture and lifestyle; environmental and occupational conditions; conflict and violence; and public health infrastructure.
